Research and Scholarship (R&S) Category Application

To have your Service Provider considered for the R&S Service Provider category, a site administrator should complete this web form. All fields are required.
*Name of your service
*Name of the organization that runs your service
*The entityID for your service (see the InCommon entity information page)
*Information URL for your service (not your organization)
*Please explain, in 2-3 sentences, how your service supports research and scholarship (the audience for your service, the function of your service, etc.) [Example: "This service provides a method for far-flung researchers to collaborate on research related to carbon sequestration by providing shared collaboration services."]

*Please verify that your service meets these technical requirements.

 

Service metadata has been submitted to InCommon and published in a human-readable format on the InCommon public web site.

The SP is a production service that supports SAML V2.0 Web Browser SSO

The SP refreshes and verifies metadata at least daily

The SP provides an mdui:DisplayName in metadata (one of numerous User Interface Elements).

The SP has an endpoint in metadata that supports the SAML V2.0 HTTP-POST binding

The SP provides Technical and Administrative contacts in metadata

The SP provides requested attributes in metadata
