California Community Colleges and InCommon

InCommon and the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office (CCCCO) have worked together to develop a CCC-specific addendum to the InCommon Participation Agreement. This addendum has been approved by both organizations.

No cost to the community college districts, since the fees have been paid centrally. Please note that this agreement must be signed by the Community College District.

1. Sign the Agreement and Addendum

2. Send the Agreement and Addendum

Send the signed agreement to InCommon by postal mail, fax, or email (admin AT incommon DOT org). Through this agreement, you will delegate your trusted Executive (we will identity-proof this person for security). Be sure the agreement is signed by an authorized representative of your organization.

Benefits for the CCC

Immediate Savings for Security Certificates — Under a contract with the CCC Chancellor's Office and InCommon, CCC schools can enroll in the InCommon Certificate Service at no additional cost. The Certificate Service offers unlimited SSL, Extended Validation, Client, and other certificates for all of your domains. Single Sign-On Convenience with such vendors as Microsoft, Blackboard, Canvas, Box, Dropbox, National Student Clearinghouse, rSmart, Parchment, EBSCO, and others (see the complete list).

Single Sign-On for CCC Systemwide Technology Offerings — Low or no-cost offerings to the colleges such as Common Assessment, the Common Course Management System (Canvas), Education Planning, Degree Audit, Retention (Hobsons/Starfish), Portal, CCCApply, and all systemwide technology will be available to the colleges via the InCommon Federation.
